- Support Group Quality Manager in the management of the quality management system
- Responsible for supporting production manufacturing with problem solving process improvements and resolution to manufacturability issues
- Review weekly scrap data and identify any trends and potential improvements
- Review and be part of a team for Root Cause analysis.
- Review/Conduct production/process-based audits & analysis the findings
- Put together PPAP package for submission to customers
- Reviews supplier PPAP submissions including control plans and assists with control plan creation where necessary
- Identify process improvements using Quality Tools, CSF data, focusing on reduction of waste/scrap.
- Participate in APQP and other cross-functional teams and provide input to the requirements for the review and approval of new or modified products, new or modified purchased components and new or modified processes.
- Related industry experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Quality role
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- IATF Knowledge.
