The role:

Thrive Education is proud to announce that we're supporting a fantastic school on the outskirts of Tewkesbury with a Class Teaching position for the remainder of the academic year.

The role will involve delivering the national curriculum to class of Year 2 pupils.

The school

The school has a total of 210 pupils and boasts 7 classrooms, an ICT suite, large hall and a library. It has a large playing field, three playgrounds,an allotment. a tyre park and an outdoor gym.

The classes all boast names of trees planted within the school grounds, with each class having experienced teaching partners supporting the teachers. There are also a wide range of opportunities for pupils to further enrich their learning.

What the school are looking for:

- Someone who is genuinely passionate about teaching and learning.- A creative, inspirational class teacher with experience in Key Stage 1.- Someone with high expectations of pupil achievement and progress, and of pupil behaviour.- Someone who will play an active part in all aspects of the school community.

This role can be suitable for ECTs, so long as it's not their first teaching role and have had experience in the classroom before.
