GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful residential lettings agency located in Gloucestershire. We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Property Manager to join their team for a full time, permanent position, located at their Tewkesbury office.

The position will be office-based, working up to 44 hours per week, Monday - Friday with 1 in 2 Saturday’s working 10am - 2:30pm. They are offering a highly competitive salary of up to £28k.

The ideal candidate for this position will be positive and passionate about property and be a very organised individual with the ability to support the property management team to deliver an efficient and effective service.

You must have a full UK driving license to be considered.

Property Manager main duties:

  • Manage the property portfolio to maximise office income including the retention of properties and clients.
  • Ensuring all maintenance jobs are completed quickly and professionally.
  • Ensuring all compliance is up to date.
  • Registering tenant deposits.
  • Serving notice on tenants when required.
  • Property inspections using industry-leading reporting software.
  • Dealing with maintenance faults/repairs and requests from tenants and landlords.
  • Checking in and out new/leaving tenants.
  • Dealing with deposit deductions where required.
  • Negotiating tenancy renewals.
  • Carrying out annual rent reviews.
  • Producing monthly landlords reports.
  • Project managing property refurbishments.
  • Carrying our viewings on available properties when required.

Property Manager required skills and experience:

  • Previous experience managing a property portfolio desired.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in the property sector.
  • Excellent organisational, time management & prioritisation skills.
  • Experience in administration & team support.
  • Well-presented and approachable.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication.
  • Be pushed and have the desire to achieve great results and help move the business forward.
  • Ready to learn quickly and has a passion for gaining knowledge, acquiring new skills and developing the business.
