Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and motivated Administration Assistant to work for a small and supportive organisation in a small village near Thame, Oxfordshire.

Commutable from Thame, Haddenham, Bicester and Aylesbury.

Role: Administration Assistant

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Location: Near Thame

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities of the Administration Assistant:

  • Manage and create monthly reports on power point, ensuring deadlines align with scheduled client meetings.
  • Compile and organise site-specific ring binders (logbooks) ahead of contract start dates.
  • Regularly update records in the organisation's databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform regular audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in the database.
  • Help onboard new employees by setting up accounts, providing access to systems, and offering basic IT orientation.
  • Provide first-line support for basic IT issues, such as password resets, Microsoft Authenticator, portable printer setups, and minor software troubleshooting.
  • Assist employees in setting up and using company iPhone, portable printer, laptops and tablets.

About you:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with sub-contractors and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
