My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion across the Thames Valley Area and beyond.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, commercial awareness, excellent time management skills, and a solid understanding of project management principles. This is a crucial role in their growing project delivery team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Duties

  • Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to projected timelines, budgets and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing simultaneous projects ranging from £500 to £3m
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and construction to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, resources, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (CIBSE, BESA), regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project milestones and final deliverables.

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Services and Project Management.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations is an advantage.
  • Full UK Driving License
