Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a social housing company in the Thame area who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team, to maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for our employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
  • Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams
  • Communicate & promote a positive SHEQ ethos and culture
  • Guide and advice projects on the implementation of business management system, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations for allocated projects, conducting robust root cause analysis, reporting back on findings.
  • Lead and support the continuous improvement of SHEQ performance.
  • Proactively monitor SHEQ reporting system for allocated projects regarding performance such as quality inspections
  • Support and advice to subcontractors and suppliers as required..
  • Participate in regular meetings, actively being involved with input, best bestice, innovation.

Key Knowledge:

  • Background in Construction industry or Social Housing/Property Services
  • Social housing/Local authority background
  • UK Driving Licence and Car
  • CMIOSH or equivalent (or be working towards this)
