Contract Details: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm (1 hour for lunch)

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with team members, clients, depots, and colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
  • Utilise software and hardware systems, including specific pallet network systems and Microsoft packages, to manage operational processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the transport team and key stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.
  • Ensure accurate scanning and labelling of pallets for daily deliveries.
  • Safely load and unload vehicles using forklifts.
  • Collect and deliver to assigned locations, adhering to specific company processes, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Take a proactive approach to health and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and participating in necessary briefings.

Essential Skills:

  • Supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Forklift license.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Competent in all Microsoft packages.

Qualities:

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Flexibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Keen to work as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • HGV Driving license.
