We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Deputy Head Teacher with SENCO & Inclusion Responsibilities to join our warm, supportive school community in a lovely Surrey. This is a temporary contract running from October Half Term 2024 or January 2025 to July 2025, with the potential for extension.

The Role:

As Deputy Head Teacher, you will play a key role in the strategic direction and development of the school, working closely with the SLT to ensure we continue to grow and thrive. You will be pivotal in helping shape the future of the school, maintaining our high standards and supporting both staff and students.

As SENCO, your role will include:

  • Leading and coordinating SEND provision, ensuring all students receive the support they need to achieve their full potential.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies for inclusion and differentiation across the school.
  • Providing training, guidance, and support to teachers and support staff on best practices for inclusion.
  • Working closely with parents, external agencies, and the wider community to promote the welfare and progress of pupils with SEND.
  • Managing the EHCP process and liaising with relevant authorities to ensure appropriate support for pupils.
