Service Manager/ Technical Manager required for our client based in Berkshire, a specialist in air conditioning who provide the design, installation and maintenance of AC systems. They're well established, with a turnover of 7m+
Currently, the bulk of their work, is within the projects department, therefore they require a technical manager / service manager, to expand and oversee, the maintenance department. The Technical Manager / Service Manager will be tasked with managing engineers, including increasing headcount within the maintenance department, assisting in bringing in new business, providing technical support for engineers and ensuring the maintenance department is profitable.
The Technical Manager / Service Manager must have a hands-on background, within the industry, having previously worked as an air conditioning engineer. They must have management / supervisory experience. The successful candidate will be working from the office, with client visits as and when required.
Service Manager Job Requirements
- Previous experience working on the tools as an AC engineer
- Managerial / supervisory experience, in the AC industry
- Based within commutable distance to Thatcham
- Full UK driving license
Service Manager Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary - 50,000 - 55,000 depending on experience
- Full package negotiable, due to this being a new position within the business
