I'm currently working with a key client of mine, a leading UK residential house builder, in assisting them with recruiting of an experienced Senior Site Manager, to join their team on their major residential scheme in Berkshire. Please see details below on the role:
Primary role
- Support SPM
- Manage internal fit out of 351 units with a support team reporting into
- Temp works coordinator
- Drive health, safety, environmental, scheme presentation and programme management
Detail of previous individual duties.
- Schedules & programme look ahead, including material call off schedule with MC
- Subcontractor weekly return management & safety observation cards
- Management of site temps
- Management of Temporary works
- Management of internal utilities once on site (power on, Open reach, Hyper optic)
- Fire coordinator including updating fire plans & dealing with fire risk assessor
- M2i including SM weekly inspections and actions close out
- (url removed) - scaffold, excavation, fire, temp works inspection forms
- Arranging and managing core drillers when required
- Liaison with sales
- R drive monitoring and management & signing off FDL QA's
- Dealing with technical & commercial issues when they arise
- Site instructions
The ideal candidate must have extensive new build residential experience and must have worked for high volume residential developers or residential main contractors here. Also, you must hold a valid CSCS (Black), SMSTS, First Aid and Temporary Works Co-ordinate (deseriable)
This is a temp to perm position, 3 months max temp before moving across on a permanent contract here.
