Our client is seeking a skilled and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead operations within their manufacturing facility. This role will oversee production areas to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective workflows while managing personnel and resources to deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, maintain facility integrity, and foster a culture focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and manage production personnel, including Operators and Helpers.
  • Hire, train, coach, and schedule staff to meet production targets.
  • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop employees, encouraging proactive problem-solving and performance.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Champion "Safety First" initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to safety policies.
  • Implement and drive safety improvement projects and certification efforts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Production & Process Improvement
  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Utilise Continuous Improvement strategies to optimize production workflows.
  • Maintain Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by coordinating with maintenance teams.
  • Identify and implement automation and strategic improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Collaboration & Quality Assurance
  • Work closely with Sales, Quality, and Purchasing teams to align production with customer demands.
  • Communicate order fulfillment updates and resolve any quality concerns.
  • Ensure all products meet industry and customer quality standards.
