Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £135 to £193 per day - FTE £26,250 to £37,800

Job Description: This College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated maths lessons to students with a range of special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching maths, preferably within an SEN setting.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and differentiation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
