About the Role

We are currently hiring full-time Teaching Assistants to provide in-class support in a respected Sutton Coldfield secondary school. The role involves supporting students with additional learning needs, ensuring they can fully engage in their education.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: March 2025 (or sooner if available)
  • Duration: Initially temporary, with potential for a permanent role
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Salary: £85.23 - £95.21 per day
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Providing 1-to-1 and small group support, particularly for a male student managing anxiety and engagement challenges.
  • Assisting classroom teachers in delivering the National Curriculum effectively.
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive environment to encourage student development.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement to help students reach their potential.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 6 months’ experience working in a secondary school or similar setting.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NCFE, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs, such as SEND, SEMH, or anxiety-related challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach.
  • A commitment to student learning and well-being.
