Job Description:
SMART EDUCATION is seeking a Secondary PE Teacher for maternity cover at a secondary school in Sutton Coldfield.
This role will start after February half-term 2025 and continue until the end of the academic year. The position involves delivering engaging Physical Education lessons and contributing to the development of students’ physical and mental well-being.
Key Details:
- Location: Sutton Coldfield
- Start Date: February 2025 (after half-term)
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Salary: £31,256 - £46,258 pro rata
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A minimum of 6+ months’ experience teaching the National Curriculum in a secondary school setting
- A commitment to high-quality teaching and a proven track record of raising student attainment
- Strong classroom management and a passion for promoting health, fitness, and teamwork
