Established in 1994, they source products globally directly from factories as well as being a distribution partner for leading brands such as FIFO, Edge, BIC, Bob Martin, Favour, Pretty Legs, Little Tree, Murphy & Barrett candles, and Object.They are an innovative business that has already met the regulations for the Sustainability Packaging act which comes into play in 2025.They are a closely-knit team, with a team-oriented culture that doesn't get micromanaged.The Role

  • We are looking to recruit an area manager in the Colchester area who will service retail stores and build strong relationships with customers.
  • The successful candidate will report to their regional manager and assume responsibility for maximising sales in their own area.
  • Full training will be provided with ongoing in house products.
  • Maintaining existing relationships along with creating strong new ones.
  • Assisting with the merchandising of products.
  • KPI's to achieve including sales, daily calls( 10 a day), and debt management.

Experience

  • Successful applicants will ideally possess recent FMCG field sales experience with a proven record in selling to independent retailers. They will need to be proactive and highly motivated, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Skills Required
  • Full UK driving License
  • 1-2 years B2B sales or retail management experience is desired but not essential
  • Able to demonstrate best practice sales skills
  • Professional manner and 'can-do’ attitude
