They are committed to delivering high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Team Coordination:
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration amongst team members.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.
- Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures to protect team members and clients.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Track expenses and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.
- Client Relations:
- It serves as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business.
- Present project progress reports and deliverables to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical and electrical engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A PMP or similar project management certificate is a plus.
