Berry Recruitment are seeking an organised Import Customs Co-Ordinator to manage the import process, ensure customs compliance, and coordinate with suppliers and brokers to facilitate timely shipments. This role requires strong knowledge of import documentation, customs regulations, and tariff management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including tariffs, duties, and taxes.
  • Prepare and submit import documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.)
  • Liaise with customs authorities to resolve issues and ensure timely clearance.
  • Coordinate shipments with logistics teams, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
  • Manage tariff classifications and calculate duties.
  • Assist with audits and maintain accurate import records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve import-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customs, import/export, or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import documentation.
  • Proficiency in customs software and systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
