Our client, a thriving and rapidly expanding company based in East Anglia, is seeking an experienced Inhalation Scientist to join their R&D laboratories.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled scientist with a strong background in chemistry or a related discipline, ideally with experience in product development within the aerosolindustry, particularly in design, formulation, and testing. A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering principles and their impact on system and equipment design is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

As an Inhalation Scientist, you will:

  • Identify and assess innovative technologies that align with the company’s product development objectives and can be seamlessly transferred to manufacturing.
  • Research and develop new features for current and future product ranges.
  • Design and implement bespoke verification test programs.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to assist manufacturing and customers through design, testing, reporting, and other development activities.
  • Produce and present clear, concise reports and findings for peers and senior management.
  • Engage with academic institutions and research organizations to explore cutting-edge technical advancements.
  • Work closely with external technology partners to drive feasibility studies and development activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:* BSc, MSc in chemistry or a related field.

* Experience in product development, particularly within the aerosol industry.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply scientific principles to real-world challenges.

* Excellent practical skills, adaptability, and sound judgment.* The ability to perform under pressure and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
