- First point of contact for enquiries
- Maintain and update the CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics AX)
- Receive, analyse, and acknowledge sales enquiries, including verification of client details and obtaining any applicable information either by telephone or email
- Generating standard product quotations
- Understand our internal proposal system, costing special designs and required calculations
- Follow up quotation status, with customers using various reports
- Prepare and email any documentation/certification requirements to customers
- Ensure all quotations meet customer requirements/project specifications, and comply with all regulations
- Stock code creation and updates
- General office duties to support the sales team, including order processing
- Monthly reporting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Confident IT skills
- A flexible nature and the ability to prioritise a changing to do list
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Foreign languages would be an advantage
- Full driving license, as some travel to other locations may be required on occasion
- 20 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays) with 1 day accrued each 2 years of service to a max of 25 days
