Dawn Ellmore Employment are working with a reputable law firm in East Anglia who are looking for an experienced IP Paralegal to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

What experience will you need? For this role, a CIPA qualification will be looked upon favourable but might not be essential. You will also need experience in handling patent administration tasks.

Outline of duties:

  • Preparing and filing patent applications.
  • Ensuring cases within the firm’s IP management database are kept updated, including raising new cases / closing old cases.
  • Effectively liaising with clients, via telephone, email etc, answering queries and advising them where possible.
  • Acknowledging client instructions and acting upon these accordingly.
  • Issuing client invoices.
