R13 Recruitment are working alongside a highly regarded, charity organisation in order to recruit an Team Supervisor to join their team across their Thetford (predominantly) & Diss offices. As a highly organised, pro-active person, your role will be to provide supervision to volunteers and staff, ensure high quality advice is provided to service users and ensure services are fit for purpose.

This is a part time, fixed-term role for a period of 6 months initially. You will be working 21 hours across 3 days, on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 9-4.30pm. You will be based in the offices, but there is some flexibility to work from home after 2.30pm. This role will primarily be based in the Thetford office but may require weekly travel to the Diss office. The offered salary for this position is £16,336 equivalent to £14.96 per hour.

**Please note, you will be required to undertake and pass a DBS check**

The day to day

  • Supervising and supporting a small team of employees and volunteers, ensuring service users are receiving an effective and efficient service.
  • Daily briefing of team and checking progress of ongoing cases.
  • Supporting the implementation of new processes and procedures, ensuring standardisation across organisation.
  • Ensuring advice sessions run smoothly by ensuring adequate staffing and resources.
  • Handling any queries, complaints or escalated situations.
  • Providing and monitoring training of team.
  • Monitoring records/phone calls/emails to ensure quality standards are being met.

You will have/be

  • Previous supervisory/line management experience is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience providing support/advice.
  • Highly organised and pro-active, able to ensure effective service is delivered.
  • Experience in training and mentoring others.
  • Adaptable within an ever-changing environment.
