I am representing a family run business in the wider Thirsk area who are looking for a Full Time Sales Administrator, this company are passionate about the range of products they supply while always striving for quality and consistency.

They are looking for an individual to join their team who is excellent at building lasting relationships with customers, is reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.

Their responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for processing customer orders received by telephone or email and then inputting order data into the company’s electronic order system
  • Building a strong link between the company and customers by answering queries, providing excellent customer service and be able to adapt your approach based on individual’s personalities and needs.
  • To routinely liaise with customers over product quality, shortages, logistical delivery changes, any other issues and to manage customer expectations
  • Learn and understand the business so you can share with customers to give a greater understanding of produce available, maximising sales and equally providing excellent customer service.
  • Being able to handle customer complaints and issues in a helpful, patient way, to work alongside the customer and the business requirements.

Person Specification:

  • A Clear communicator on the phone and in writing.
  • Have a good understanding of excel and outlook.
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience gained in a similar role is essential

Hours of work Monday to Friday with a 7.30am start but availability for flexible finish times to suit individual needs.
