Shift Engineering Team Leader

Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days and 2 nights) x7 rotations, with 18 day blocks off inbetween

Salary: £47,000 - £49,500 depending on experience, skills and qualifications (Plenty of overtime paid at enhanced rates)

My client based in Thornton is looking for a Shift Engineering Team Leader to join their expanding team. This role is due to company expansion and will involve responsibilities across multiple functions within the company, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet operational demands. The successful Shift Engineering Team Leader will need to have had previous leadership experience and be multi skilled, with both electrical and mechanical skills. The Shift Engineering Team Leader must also be IT literate, with experience using internal CMMS systems and Sharepoint. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.

This role is around 40% office based and 60% hands on

Requirements for the Shift Engineering Team Leader:

  • Multi Skilled - Either electrical or mechanical bias, 80/20 split either way
  • Must be Apprentice trained or have a full recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 or ONC)
  • Open to backgrounds - manufacturing or forces
  • Previous leadership experience ESSENTIAL
  • Must be PC and IT literate
  • Candidates must already live in or around the Preston area and be commutable to site
