Your new companyJoin a small but expanding, reputable construction company based in Thornton-Cleveleys. Having been established for over 20 years, this organisation provides comprehensive support services across the UK to a variety of different clients. Due to company growth, they are currently seeking an Office Manager to join the team.Your new role

  • As a Construction Office Manager, you will take ownership of key office functions that support construction operations.
  • This role involves scheduling work, managing essential documentation, and overseeing procurement processes.
  • Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of projects.
  • You will be responsible for planning and coordinating work schedules, preparing and organising RAMS documentation and overseeing purchasing of materials and equipment.
  • Supporting contract and project administration, maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensuring health and safety compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative or office management role within construction, facilities management, or a related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages and the ability to learn in-house systems.
  • Experience in scheduling, procurement, and documentation management is required.
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work under deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple work streams, work well within a team and use your own initiative.
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance and RAMS preparation is desirable.
