Our client are a well-established developer of utility scale solar farms and energy systems. The types of projects that they work on include renewable energy and residential projects such as large-scale battery projects.
Due to company growth, our client is looking to bring in a Planning Manager from a renewable energy background, to join their team full time in the office. You will be responsible for managing planning applications for large scale renewable projects.

What's in it for you?
- Monday to Friday in the office (08:00am - 5:00pm).
- Salary - £45,000 - £55,000.
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays.

Planning Manager - Renewable Energy
Position Overview
- Manage and submit planning applications for large-scale renewable projects, such as solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Liaise with local councils and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with planning and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact reports.
- Oversee project timelines to meet planning approval deadlines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineers, developers, and legal teams, to ensure project alignment with planning requirements.
- Monitor and address any planning issues or objections during the application process.

Position Requirements
- Experience within the Renewable Energy sector is essential.
- Proven experience as a Planning Manager or similar roles.
- Great communication and organisational skills.
- Work well within a team.
