Primary School Teacher Job Description:

A large, inclusive 4-form entry primary school in Thornton Heath is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis with an immediate start.

Primary School Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum.
  • Support and cater to a diverse group of learners, including those with high Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and other staff to create individualised learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support the development of all pupils.
  • Regularly assess pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet varying learning needs.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and any concerns.

Primary School Teacher Requirements:
