Field Service Engineer role available in a highly successful business that services, calibrates and repairs scales, balances and weighing equipment.
The role will suit experienced multi-skilled engineers with a proven track record of maintenance, repair and calibration. Candidates can be from the industry or transfer from other similar sectors.
The business is well established, growing and can offer training and development on the product range.
The Field Service Engineer Role:
* Visit client sites to carry out installs, planned preventative maintenance, service and repairs to industrial, retail, and medical scales and other equipment including test weights or service where appropriate.
* Conduct on-site calibrations and repairs, where required.
* Complete calibration certificate/paperwork on site.
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Report any sales opportunities back to the office.
* Keep Office 365 diary updated to ensure visibility to the service and admin teams.
* Answer callouts to customers within 8 working hours and keep customers informed of any delays.
The Field Service Engineer:
* Ideally will have experience within weighing equipment / metrology.
* Multi-skilled engineers with a knowledge of electrical / electronics from similar transferable industries will also be considered.
