We're partnering with a highly regarded hotel in Reading that has an exciting opportunity for an Finance Manager to join their finance team.

You must have previous hospitality / hotel experience to be considered for this role.

Finance Manager - Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of the finance team, providing financial support to senior managers and department heads
  • Ensure financial controls are adhered to in line with corporate standards
  • Supervise key areas such as cost control, income audit, accounts payable/receivable, and more
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate general ledger postings
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis
  • Use financial data trends and market insights to recommend actions that maximize returns
  • Support external and statutory audits as needed

Finance Manager - Required Experience

  • Prior experience in hotel accounting
  • Experience with financial software such as Opera/Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a finance team
