The Opportunity

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and source new business opportunities, leveraging both your own leads and those provided by their Sales and Operations teams.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop robust sales strategies across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight for both imports and exports.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that enhance their supply chain efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and detailed sales reports, ensuring all relevant terms and clauses are included and align with company standards.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in freight sales within a freight forwarding environment.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the global freight industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
