I am seeking multiple experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a leading consultancy, seconded into a major contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke civil engineering contracts, with a focus on both pre and post contract work. The role requires strong measurement experience, particularly in line with CESMM (Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement).

Essential Requirements:

  • Measurement expertise is critical, ideally with CESMM experience (NRM or SMM also considered).
  • A solid background in civil engineering projects.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience, ideally with exposure to main contractor environments.
  • Familiarity with subcontract management and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing detailed measurement and re-measurement of materials, labour, and costs.
  • Managing subcontract packages and ensuring accurate cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting pre- and post-contract activities, including valuations and cost reporting.
  • Applying expertise in contract types and bespoke arrangements.
  • Collaborating with contractors and project teams to ensure successful delivery.

  • Interviews are being scheduled urgently, with a start in the New year.
