Production Operative
Location: Tiverton
Contract: Temporary
Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30
Basic Pay Rate: £11.45 per hour
Start: January 2025
gap personnel are currently seeking new team members to join the friendly production team in our client's site in Tiverton. We have several Production Operative positions available with the start of the inductions being planned for January 2024.
As a Production Operative, you will become a part of a busy team, you will be trained on duties of each separate production line until you become an all-rounder within the factory- through this, our client ensures high levels of efficiency, at the same time making your role more varied.
As a Production Operative, you will be expected to:
- To work within a team, playing an active part in team and business successes.
- To batch and Weigh of the products, Fill small bottles with the product, Cap the bottles, Label, Wrap, Pack ready products into boxes.
- To engage with the daily challenges and opportunities and work effectively with others to overcome.
- To demonstrate a commitment to H&S by working in a safe manner.
- To escalate any hygiene or quality issues and ensure that any product below standards is identified and held and the issues are escalated appropriately, resolved, and released.
- To understand and adhere to good manufacturing practices, company standards of hygiene, PPE, and dress code. Practice a 'Clean as You Go' approach, maintaining workplace organisation and visual management standards.
