Intruder Alarm & Security Systems Engineer

They will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our client's premises by installing and maintaining intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems. Responsibilities as a Security Systems Engineer:

• Conduct site surveys, design, Install and maintain intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, and access control systems in line with current standards and customer requirements
• Troubleshoot and repair system faults, ensuring timely resolution
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operations of the system installed, answering their questions and resolving any concerns
• Conduct annual system corrective and preventative maintenance inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all systems and configurations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects. You’ll have the opportunity to your skills through ongoing training to stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, continuously improving your knowledge and skills
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements as a Security Systems Engineer:

• Experienced in the installation and maintenance of Risco, Texecom, Honeywell, Scantronic and Pyronix intruder alarms. Hikvision & Dahua CCTV systems, and Paxton & Videx access control systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good effective communication and customer service skills
• We are looking for team members who excel in both independent work and collaborative projects
• Good timekeeper
• Valid UK driver's license
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
