Job Title: Regional Security Operations Manager

Location: South West

Hours per week: Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00 – Flexibility to support the operation whereby weekend and night visits may be applicable.

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced account manager to manage and lead on all aspects of the account and join our passionate and driven team based in the South West REGION.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated security solutions.
  • Own and regularly review the Security Strategy, including Threat and Risk Assessments, to align with changing needs.
  • Manage and enhance the security services contract, ensuring delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Oversee all departmental documentation, ensuring regular updates and compliance.
  • Participate in security forums to share best practices and industry knowledge
  • Conduct audits to ensure event security standards are met or exceeded.
  • Drive communication with managers regarding security actions, improvements, and issues.
  • Write business cases for procurement or service improvements as needed.
  • Manage contractual meetings and coordinate with the procurement team on contract amendments
  • To manage the development of the service and the training and development of staff in accordance with plans agreed between OCS Group UK Ltd and the Client.
  • Management of the grievance and disciplinary in line with the OCS Group Ltd procedures.
  • To manage staff welfare and to ensure that work practices comply to agreed levels in accordance with the Health & Safety at work etc. Act 1974.
  • To ensure assignment instructions are kept up to date and relevant.
  • Online reporting and recording using bespoke software: Time gate, Myview & Data Station.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You will have experience as a Security Account Manager
  • This role will require Travel
  • You will be able to pass BS7858 vetting
  • You will hold a valid UK Driving License
  • Have excellent verbal, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Security management qualification
  • You will have good knowledge of risk management.
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • SIA license is required – Security Guard or Door Supervisor as a minimum
  • CCTV License desirable
  • IOSH or NEBOSH required
  • You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
  • A Criminal Record Check, employment history and Counter Terrorism Check.
