We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team. If you hold an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and have at least 3 years of experience working within residential childcare, particularly with young people, we'd love to hear from you.

What Will I Do as a Deputy Manager?

In this leadership role, you'll have the unique opportunity to support children and young people to overcome challenges and set the foundation for a brighter future.

  • Use life skills and provide guidance to children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
  • Work closely with young people to support their educational, training, and employment aspirations.
  • Lead a team of residential workers, ensuring they are supported in their roles and are providing high-quality care.
  • Take responsibility for staff supervision, leading shifts, and making sure placement plans, policies, procedures, and risk assessments are followed.
  • Ensure that education is supported and that each child's welfare and care are prioritised at all times.
