TRIP are delighted to be working with this luxury interiors brand to find their new Visual Merchandiser (permanent and full time although part-time will also be considered), Todmorden (OL14) represents the most central point between the four current stores from Preston to Leeds.
With roots in the area going back to the 1800s our client knows quality and interiors and has been a real ?Lancashire Life? favourite for many years.
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for the day-to-day visual expression in stores (currently four but growing), working daily in stores across the Group to implement the Company vision. You will train, and work alongside, store teams to create and maintain impressive product presentations and grow sales.
About the role
- Responsible for ensuring the windows and focus areas are changed/refreshed periodically
- Your work has direct influence on the turnover. By optimising the product placement and designing exciting product displays, you will improve the customer experience and increase sales.
- Use sales reports to drive commercial product displays and promote cross merchandising to upsell in each department.
- Creative merchandising solutions to achieve KPI results and maximise sell-through on products.
What are we looking for?
- Strong experience as a visual merchandiser, with proven merchandising, leadership and training skills.
- Previous experience as a visual merchandiser at multi-site level (homewares an advantage).
- Excellent communication skills to motivate store visual merchandisers to be their best.
- Flexible, being able to adapt to the needs of the business.
- Training and coaching skills in merchandising practices.
- Resourceful, with problem solving skills and initiative to get things done.
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
- Willing and able to travel frequently.
Basic salary c£30-£40k dependent on relevant experience with discretionary bonus and car allowance (own car and full driving license essential).
