Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner, is currently offering a temporary Management Accountant position for a proactive and dynamic individual. Our client, based in Paddock Wood, is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team and contribute to their financial efficiency and accuracy.
Management Accountant Day to Day of the Role:- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Analysis of financial performance and contribution to cost control measures.
- Budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insight to support business decisions.
- Liaising with various departments to ensure financial best practices.
- Overseeing accounting operations, including ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with audits and resolving any discrepancies in financial reports.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
- Candidates should be within a commutable distance to Paddock Wood.
