Grafton Banks Finance is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a full-time permanent position in Tonbridge.
Key responsibilities include preparation of VAT and CIS returns, day-to-day bookkeeping, management accounts, budgets, cash-flows, and credit control.
Candidates must be AAT qualified with demonstrable experience in a similar role and possess excellent IT skills, particularly with Xero.
The role requires the ability to work independently under deadlines and involves occasional travel to clients, necessitating a driving license due to the office's remote location.
The competitive salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a well-respected and growing business with offices based in Tonbridge to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper on a full-time permanent basis.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of VAT and CIS returns.
Liaising with clients to resolve queries regarding bookkeeping, VAT or CIS.
Day to day bookkeeping.
Management Accounts.
Budgets.
Cash-flows.
Credit control.

Must have:

Ability to work under your own initiative with little supervision, nevertheless support will always be available.
Ability to cope with demanding deadlines.

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified and have demonstrable experience in a similar role. You will need to have excellent IT skills including exposure to Xero.

This role will require the successful candidate to drive due to the remote location of the office and due to the requirement of occasional travel to clients.
