Reed Business Support is seeking a dedicated Hospital Cleaner to join our clients expanding team. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital environment, using clinical machines to ensure the sanitation of hospital equipment.
Hospital Cleaner Day-to-day of the role:- Operate clinical cleaning machines to sanitize hospital equipment and surfaces.
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure all areas are free from pathogens.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks according to the hospital’s standards, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting.
- Respond to cleaning emergencies with urgency and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and orderly storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and hospital policies at all times.
- Report any issues or malfunctions with the cleaning equipment to the management team.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with using clinical cleaning machines and understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Good physical condition to perform manual cleaning tasks.
