Maintenance Surveyor

•    Hourly rate: Negotiable•    Location: Hybrid – Tonbridge Kent TN9•    Hours: 36 hours per week •    Job Type: Temp till end September  

We are seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to join a large social housing organisation based within Tonbridge Kent to cover the local region. This role is crucial in overseeing both in-house and external repair services, ensuring high standards of delivery that meet customer expectations and provide value for money. 

Day-to-day of the role:•    Carry out pre and post-inspections and create detailed reports for responsive repairs, void works, and cyclical repairs.•    Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction.•    Manage the performance and progress of the repairs service, ensuring that quality works are delivered on time, with minimal defects, and within budget.•    Ensure all activities comply with relevant statutory regulations. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Qualification in a property-related discipline, such as HNC in Surveying, or a degree-level qualification.•    Membership in a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOB •    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage customer relationships.•    Ability to travel across the region as required – full UK Driving Licence required •    Must be eligible to work in the UK; not able to offer visa sponsorship.
