We are seeking accomplished and driven Project Managers / Senior Project Managersto deliver capital and asset management projects within the water industry. With increased spending on water assets, this is an exciting time to be part of the sector. The ideal candidate will be Chartered (ICE or APM) and bring prior experience managing projects for water organisations. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient, sustainable, and high-quality outcomes for critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of capital and asset management projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, regulators, and clients, to achieve project goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules aligned with strategic objectives and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental considerations, and health and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation measures to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular project progress reports to stakeholders, addressing challenges and presenting recommendations.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement to optimize project outcomes and organizational practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, particularly within the water or utilities industry.
  • Chartered status (ICE or APM).
  • Strong knowledge of capital and asset management in water infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, MS Project).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
  • Awareness of regulatory frameworks and sustainable practices in the water industry.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualifications in project management, engineering, or a related discipline.
