A lovely country pub with a lively bar, popular restaurant, and beautiful garden for the warmer months. Currently they are looking for a talented Head Chef to take over the day to day running of the kitchen, leading their brigade of dedicated and experienced professionals.
The Head Chef will have plenty of autonomy over the menus, cooking with fresh ingredients sourced from artisan suppliers in the local area. The menus change daily so you can make the most of the seasonal Kent produce. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, so plenty of opportunity to get creative with the menus.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated Head Chef who has already worked in a similar role within the industry, or you could be a strong Sous Chef looking for his or her first Head Chef position.
You will be a team player, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail to deliver outstanding quality food and service. You will be very proud of your role and want to take the pub to the next level. You will love pleasing people and enjoy building a committed brigade to work alongside you.
As Head Chef you will need great communication and leadership skills, a good level of computer literacy, the ability to work under pressure and be an excellent trainer, motivating and mentoring your team.
