We are in search of an accomplished Credit Controller to oversee our clients customer accounts and ensure the timely collection of debts. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in credit control, debt recovery, and reconciliation, complemented by a proficient working knowledge of Excel.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Engage with customers to secure timely debt collection and address any issues causing payment delays.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure cohesive credit control efforts.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with accurate records of all transactions.
  • Compile aged debt reports for the directors’ review.
  • Uphold strict credit management controls and adhere to company policies.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the finance team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in Credit Control, with multi-currency experience being highly advantageous.
  • Solid general accounts experience and a strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with customers and Directors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate debt collection challenges and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, fostering teamwork across all levels of staff.
