We are currently seeking a Multilingual Credit Controller to join our team on behalf of Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner. This temporary position is based in East Peckham and offers a skilled professional the opportunity to manage credit control functions in a multilingual environment.

Credit Controller Day-to-day of the role:

Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger and ensure timely collection of payments.
Communicate with clients in various languages to resolve outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans.
Monitor debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
Prepare weekly reports on account status and any issues that need addressing to the management team.
Liaise with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes and queries efficiently and amicably.
Ensure compliance with company policies regarding credit control and debt collection.

Credit Controller Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a Credit Control role, with the ability to handle accounts in multiple languages.
Fluency in at least two languages in addition to English is essential.
Strong understanding of credit control procedures and financial regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office and financial software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
