Are you a proactive and dynamic individual with a passion for managing estates in the public sector? Our client is seeking a dedicated Estates Manager to oversee facilities at their Tonbridge & west Kent sites. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real impact!

Position: Estates Manager (Temp to Perm)Location: Tonbridge Contract Type: Temp To PermHours: Full Time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday)Hourly Rate: £16 - £23 (depending on experience)

Your Role:As the Estates Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of all college buildings and grounds. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all matters related to college facilities and advising the Director of Estates & Risk Management.
  • Overseeing maintenance and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Managing financial budgets and monitoring external contractors to ensure service delivery.
  • Collaborating with project teams for new building developments and improvements.
  • Reporting on the condition of buildings and suggesting areas for investment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant professional or trade qualifications (e.g., building craft, surveying, or Health and Safety).
  • Experience in large project management and facilities/estates management.
  • Excellent people management skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
