We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our school-based health team in Tonbridge. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is dedicated to providing excellent healthcare support to students within an educational setting.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide basic healthcare services to students under the supervision of the school nurse.
  • Assist in managing and administering medication as per the healthcare plans.
  • Monitor and record students’ health progress and report any concerns to the school nurse.
  • Support students with special healthcare needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at school.
  • Educate students on basic health practices and hygiene.
  • Assist in organising and managing health screenings and vaccination programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably within a school or pediatric setting.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and stressful situations.
