Conveyancing Legal Secretary

Tonbridge | £23,000 - £28,000 DOE | GL034

Our client, a well-established Law firm based in Tonbridge is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary with Conveyancing experience to join their successful, expanding team.

Responsibilities

You would be providing full secretarial support, diary management, meeting and greeting clients, audio transcription, submitting searches and handling telephone queries from clients and/or third parties. General typing/correspondence and document work, alongside the preparation of legal forms where required.

  • All secretarial support to the Fee Earners in the company
  • First point of contact for all clients, calling in and dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
  • Dealing with the Land Registry
  • Completing SDLT forms
  • High volume of document production including Audio typing
  • Diary management, booking and sending out meeting invites and taking minutes in meetings
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to work individually as well as part of a team and be able to work to tight deadlines efficiently.

Requirements

  • Solid residential conveyancing experience in a legal environment
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Proactive work ethic due to a busy role
  • Good client interaction skills
  • Strong technical competence
  • Knowledge of the following is advantageous:

- Land Registry Portal

- BigHand

- Oyez Forms

- Searchflow

- Partner 4 Windows
