Position: Packaging ManagerLocation: Tonbridge  Are you an experienced Packaging Manager looking for your next challenge?   Join a well-established, UK leading manufacturer dedicated to driving quality standards.  They are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to lead their Packaging, Despatch, and Logistics department.   • Overall Department Management: Oversee the business packaging, despatch, and logistics operations, including staff management, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 13 staff members, including Packaging Operators (with temporary staff), Pickers, and a Despatch and Logistics Co-ordinator.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with other department managers to manage and coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and packing of products for final despatch.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop, monitor, and report monthly on department key performance indicators.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to forecast and manage packing materials and inventory stock levels.
  • ERP/MRP Software: Experience with Sage 200 or similar ERP/MRP software is essential.
