Do you have leadership experience within a warehouse?

Our market leading client are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. If you have a passion for driving operational excellence, managing teams, and optimising warehouse processes, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.

Duties:

  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse and dispatchstaff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Plan and prioritise workflows, assign tasks, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Implement and enforcestandard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and maintain quality control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall warehouse performance.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuousimprovement within the warehouse team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory, shipments, and warehouseactivities.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement appropriate solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Previous experience in a leadership position within a warehouse
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and best practices in logistics.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and managea diverse team effectively.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
