My Client, full-service Fire and Security firm, are looking for an Operations Assistant to join their friendly, tight knit team. This is an office-based position from their HQ in Tonbridge, Monday-Friday 9am and 5pm.

They pride themselves on being customer focussed, delivering a tailored service where their client’s needs are at the forefront and need a highly organised individual with exceptional attention to detail and excellent stakeholder management skills to support the smooth running of their operation.

Working closely with the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating purchases of equipment and materials for jobs.
  • Ensuring equipment is delivered to site promptly and organised correctly, booking returns as needed.
  • Returning faulty products.
  • Raising/updating jobs on the internal CRM.
  • Managing stock levels for materials/consumables.
  • Managing goods-in procedures.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Updating technical drawings for quotations/installations and final fit projects.
  • Additional office administration duties as needed to support the smooth running of the office.

Working as part of a small team in an ever-changing environment it is essential that you can multi-task and prioritise your workload. You will also need:

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Application, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Training will be provided on more specialist packages.
  • Excellent time/project management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Friendly and professional telephone manner.

The successful applicant will be asked to undertake a full DBS screening.
