Payroll Coordinator – Fantastic Career Opening!Are you a seasoned payroll expert in search of a new and rewarding role?A respected and friendly accountancy practice is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their enthusiastic and supportive team.Working within the Payroll and Financial Records division, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll services for a diverse client base, acting as the main point of contact for all pay-related queries.Applicants should have practical payroll experience, preferably gained within an accountancy environment or payroll service provider.Your main duties will involve:
  • Conducting Real Time Information (RTI) payroll submissions across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly schedules.
  • Administering workplace pension schemes and managing auto-enrolment duties.
  • Creating payroll summaries and updating internal spreadsheets.
  • Managing statutory entitlements such as Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Maternity Pay (SMP), and Paternity Pay (SPP).
  • Working out payments for sickness absence, holiday leave, and redundancy.
  • Handling tax documents including P45s, starter checklists (P46 equivalents), P60s, and student loan repayments.
  • Addressing client queries related to payroll and corresponding with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
  • Performing manual calculations for PAYE, National Insurance contributions, family leave, and paid time off.
  • Building and nurturing strong working relationships with clients.
